Marketing Manager (Veterinary Team)
JOB SUMMARY:
Assist Marketing Director in analyzing and assessing new business opportunities and developing strategic plans to determine appropriate, effective and efficient integrated marketing programs for brand products. Monitor market trends, oversee and interpret market research efforts and develop consumer and sales support materials for trade shows, publications, custom projects and digital platforms.In this role you’ll work closely with your team to analyze the performance of the campaigns targeted to achieve goals. You will be accountable for the CPA as well reinforcing brand awareness amongst existing customers.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement effective marketing programs that meet the brand or group goals for readership, attendance and category penetration. Work with editorial/content team to develop and promote quality features and content online, in publications, and at conferences/trade shows.
- Manage and optimize acquisition marketing programs with the goal of acquiring new customers through traditional and new media such as print, direct mail, digital assets and event marketing.
- Project manager for consumer and sales marketing materials (direct mail, email, digital and onsite logistical elements); timeline development, creative briefings, reporting and budget management.
- Meet with readers, advertisers, attendees to learn more about their needs; direct market research efforts and provide research insights and in-depth analysis that keep publisher, sales, and editorial/content team up to date on what’s going on in the market. Relate trends to strategy and new business opportunities.
- Attend conferences to gather information on market, attendees and competitors.
- Create and manage a comprehensive testing & reporting methodology that accurately tracks key metrics for clear results that will further drive the overall strategic direction of our acquisition marketing efforts.
- In this role you must be able to dissect the CPA to have a full understanding of why a campaign is and is not working so that you can effectively make the big decisions regarding new strategies.
- Identify and develop a strong understanding of the brands core objectives and challenges and clearly understand competitive landscape
- Manage internal and external creative and strategic resources to ensure the success of all acquisition marketing programs.
- Prepare and update weekly reports and develop presentations as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
